Clinical experience.
An athlete’s perspective.

Dr. Zoe Munie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in 2016. Her education also includes a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. She brings experience across personal training, hospital care, nursing facilities, integrative medicine, and outpatient rehabilitation.

She also knows what it means to want more from your body. Her background spans training and teaching martial arts, including a second-degree black belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do, Level 2 IKF Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing, and Muay Thai. CrossFit is another part of her own pursuit of lasting strength and capability.

That combination gives her a practical perspective on the connection between rehabilitation and the activities people want to return to.

Care with your life in mind

For the things you need to do.
And the things you love.

Zoe has a particular focus on people living with chronic pain or disease and those whose work or sport places serious demands on their bodies. That includes combat-sport athletes, military personnel, emergency responders, and people in physically demanding trades.

You don’t need a demanding job or an athletic background to reach out. Adapt also works with the general population, typically ages 13 and up, with younger patients considered individually. The goal begins with what matters to you, whether that’s keeping up with your family, returning to training, or feeling more capable in daily life.

Her treatment scope includes back and neck pain, shoulder and lower-body injuries, recovery after surgery, balance and walking difficulties, and general weakness or deconditioning. Your evaluation determines the approach that fits your needs.
